Record of the re-enactment flight.

We believe that this was the largest such event to have been held in Australia. Over 30 aircraft took part at various stages. The main mail was carried in an Australian-designed, Australian-made Jabiru, escorted by two Cessnas. A second load was carried in a range of historic aircraft including a de Havilland Dragon Rapide and an Avro Cadet of 1930s vintage. The flight was welcomed by crowds of enthusiasts at every stop. Booklet has 36 a5 pages and many illustrations. $8 each or print your own .pdf or MS Word copy.
